Campbell Grading, Inc., designed and constructed the outdoor accessible El Polin Connector Trail, creating an accessible connection for users to travel from Paul Goode Parking Lot to El Polin Spring in the Presidio.
We constructed several hundred feet of Sutter retaining wall and post-and-cable railing. And we put down Park Tread® surfacing to improve the durability of the heavily used trail, which serves as a commute path commute path to work and school for many.
This project addressed drainage on the slopes and directed flows into El Polin’s watershed without creating erosion or damaging the trail.
