Extension Trail

An extension trail was added to our Presidio Coastal Trail & Golden Gate Overlook project, in order to make a smooth transition from the new work, created by Campbell Grading, Inc., to the existing trail that parallels Lincoln Blvd and the ocean. The trail also addresses the erosion problem caused from the street run-off.

H-beam Wall Moving Along

The H-beam wall beams have been put in place and the wall has been backfilling with gravel wrapped with fabric.

Golden Gate Overlook Structural Slab and Formwork

The form work is underway at the Golden Gate Overlook and the structural slab for the stone has been poured.

 

Golden Bay Construction, our subcontractor, poured 117 cubic yards of concrete for the structural slab at the Golden Gate Overlook.

H-beam Wall Progression

We have continued with building the H-beam wall for the Presidio Coastal Trail and Golden Gate Overlook. The following pictures show our progression over the last week.

The holes for the I-beams were drilled.

We have starting shaping the landscape for the installation of the H-beam wall.

The Lincoln/Merchant Connector Stairs and Behind the Golden Gate Overlook

Behind the Golden Gate Overlook everything is at finished grade and Barth's surfacing has been put down. Erosion control buttons up the area.

Box steps with Barth's surfacing has been put in leading up to the connector stairs at the Lincoln and Merchant Intersection.
